Switchable phonostage on board
The Primary E Phono includes an on-board switchable moving magnet phono stage (only available in Black finish). This means that the turntable is ready-to-go out of the box, but also has the flexibility for the customer to upgrade their phono stage in the future. This could be a separate phonostage, or an in-built phono in their existing amplifier.

Set up is a breeze. From opening the box to spinning your first record on the Primary E, even if you have never so much as laid a finger on a record player before, should be no more than ten minutes. Pro-Ject has been refining their own unboxing process for the best part of twenty years now and the process has been refined to an art. There are very few turntables that are simpler to get up and running than this one.

To All At Pro Ject Audio...Thank You For Producing An Amazing Product In The Primary E Phono Turntable! It Is A Well Made, Athesiastiacally Pleasing Turntable That Provides Excellent Tonal Quality Along With The Ability To Play Any Vinyl Record (33/45 Speed) Without Any Risk Of Damage. I Personally Have Many Highly Collectable Albums (Beatles, Carpenters, Supertramp Just To Name A Few) That Are Now Very Hard To Find On CD...And Almost Impossible In Vinyl.....I Wound Not Risk My Valuable Collection Being Played On Anything Other Than The Pro Ject Range. Yes, there are plenty of more Esoteric and Expensive Turntables Out There, But I Want To Listen To Music, NOT Have To Set Weights, Turntable Speeds, Stylus Pressure etc....This Is What Makes Pro Ject Turntables So Good..Everything Is Professionally Pre Set Prior To Being packed And Sent Out. The Ability To Use A Dedicated Turntable Input (Phono) Or A Regular Line In (Aux) Is Great, Most Hi Fi Systems Or Amplifiers Have One Or The Other On Board, So Set Up Is Easier Than Ordering Take Out Meals!. Belt was faulty and broke pretty much straight away. I've contacted support and a replacement one is on its way. The product looks awesome and I would still recommend it, provided that the new belt works fine
