High End Sound & Exquisite Acrylic PlinthWe are excited to introduce the beautiful XA B turntable as our newest addition in the X Line range. Acryl turntables have always played a part of Pro-Ject history, though using this material to build them is not as easy as one might think. Nevertheless, we accepted the challenge once again and the end result is a turntable that looks incredible but is still affordable. The new XA B features a 10“ aluminium tonearm paired with the Pick It Pro Balanced cartridge, to perfectly complement the sound signature of the big acrylic plinth. An acrylic dustcover, a high quality Connect it E Phono 5P / RCA cable and a Record Puck E are also included in the box.
Pre-fitted with the Pick It PRO Balanced Cartridge
The first of its kind. The new Pick it PRO Balanced cartridge is a revised version of the Pick it PRO which allows you a "True Balanced" signal transmission.
True Balanced connection
One of the significant benefits of balanced connections is their ability to eliminate noise and interference picked up during signal transmission. Moreover, cartridges are naturally balanced signal transducers, making the True Balanced approach particularly advantageous since it utilises the full potential of the cartridge's signal.
Premium tonearm
The XA B turntable features a premium 10“ aluminium tonearm with a massive bearing construction. The ultra-low friction 4 pinpoint tonearm bearing guarantees precise, stable and accurate tracking. We use the one-piece aluminium tonearm tube instead of a carbon one, as aluminium complements the sound characteristics of acryl.
The full aluminium tonearm base allows you to adjust both the azimuth and the vertical tracking angle (VTA), and getting this setting correct is crucial in extracting every last bit of performance out of your cartridge.
