It definitely works to clean the dust off my records, but it doesn't pick it up well, often leaving quite a lot of dust behind. I've tried being being excessively gentle, and I've tried being a little heavier handed with it, neither seem to yield results that could definitively be called the "better" method. I find that I have to brush off the dust left behind which I've been told could scratch my records, but I just don't know how to deal with that... Regardless it does get most of the dust off without issue, and I certainly wouldn't be without this brush now that I have one.

I had ordered a different brand record brush off Amazon, and it ended up leaving bristles all over my records that affected playback. I ordered this Pro-Ject brush as a replacement and it works perfectly, removes all dust from the record!
